Last week we set our sails and dropped anchor at the Bio-Seehotel at Zeulenroda lake. As an employer with a feel-good factor, we always make sure to offer our employees the necessary distraction from their daily business. In order to grow closer together as a company, to have fun and to leave everyday life behind us, we go on the road once a year.

Together we spent two exciting days full of entertainment and little adventures. Immediately after our arrival, we were welcomed in the beer garden on the shores of the Zeulenroda lake. The delicious barbecue buffet with different meat dishes as well as vegetarian alternatives - all organic of course - left nothing to be desired. Even the weather, which became cooler as the hours progressed, could not dampen the good mood. While some were already slowly making their way to a cosy little bed, the others let the evening come to an end with a drink or two at the bar.

The dawn of the next day was celebrated with breakfast together in the hotel's panorama restaurant. Scrambled eggs, muesli, vegan spreads and rolls from the hotel's own organic bakery and numerous other delicacies made the culinary heart beat faster. The sumptuous breakfast was followed by a workshop lasting several hours. With the help of ChatGPT, different teams developed concepts for the strategic direction of the company in times of the AI revolution.

A small midday snack provided the necessary refreshment for our diverse afternoon programme. Split into groups, we put our team spirit to the test in various competitions ranging from kayaking to nerve-racking games of skill. In the end, there could only be one winner and the best team was rewarded with champagne and medals.

The return journey was uneventful and we arrived safely at Georgiring in Leipzig in the early evening. We haven't decided yet where we will go next year. One thing is certain: it will be great to be on the road again.
