We spoke with Artur Schiefer, one of our managing directors who attended the E-world energy & water event in Essen. The fair is a central hub for the European energy industry, bringing together key players in the field and attracting international exhibitors.

For years, we have been working with leading energy providers and shaping the world of tomorrow with our projects, transforming highly complex processes into efficient and future-proof solutions. In the interview, Artur Schiefer shared with us the many smart new developments in the energy sector and the possibilities he sees for our project work.

Artur Schiefer: Once again, this year's E-world energy & water offered us many exciting topics. We had the opportunity to have fruitful discussions with various exhibitors in the field of energy and mobility. A clear trend in the energy and mobility transition emerged: decentralization. Energy supply is increasingly being considered at the local level, making the distribution network more decentralized. Consequently, it becomes necessary to develop stronger controls in these areas. With the decentralized approach, it is becoming increasingly important to provide support through more up-to-date hardware and software at various points. However, the generation and distribution of energy also present a new challenge that we encountered at the trade fair. While these factors used to be centrally solved a few years ago, today many companies and individuals want to generate energy independently. As a result, these topics are becoming more relevant in the market.

The exchange at E-world also made it clear to us that IT Sonix recognized these trends early on. While we began expanding our presence in these sectors several years ago, others are only now starting to take notice. Through a diverse portfolio with references in the energy and mobility sectors, we have been able to integrate these new business models and solidify our expertise in these areas. Thanks to our collaboration with leading mobility companies and energy service providers, we can already support the energy transition and develop sustainable software for these sectors.

One last trend that stood out to me is that thanks to software, everyone can contribute to the energy and mobility transition. It's as simple as that nowadays.
