Inclusion through user experience

We understand the goal of inclusion to be that all people have equal access to information, services and opportunities in the digital world so that they can participate in the achievements of modern technology. Relevant usability/UX topics were discussed during this lecture series, for example:

  • Universal design: creating technologies and products that everyone can use
  • Accessibility
  • More usable government websites
  • Artificial intelligence systems that promote global inclusion
  • Artificial intelligence systems to protect against bullying
  • Empathy as a component of cooperation
  • Social change through social media
  • Community through social change
  • Inclusion through a sense of community

  • Inclusion through cooperation
  • Global user experience as a contributor to inclusion
